Ingredients Explained
These ingredients are found in both products.
Ingredients higher up in an ingredient list are typically present in a larger amount.
Water. It's the most common cosmetic ingredient of all. You'll usually see it at the top of ingredient lists, meaning that it makes up the largest part of the product.
So why is it so popular? Water most often acts as a solvent - this means that it helps dissolve other ingredients into the formulation.
You'll also recognize water as that liquid we all need to stay alive. If you see this, drink a glass of water. Stay hydrated!
Learn more about WaterButylene Glycol (or BG) is used within cosmetic products for a few different reasons:
- It is a solvent, meaning that it helps to dissolve other ingredients. This also enhances the absorption of the product into one's skin.
- It is a humectant, which means that it helps attract moisture into the skin.
- It helps improve product application.
Overall, Butylene Glycol is a safe and well-rounded ingredient. It is unlikely to irritate skin, and works well with pretty much all other ingredients.

I actually didn't know toner pads were a popular k-beauty product until I came across this brand. I have to say these are worth the hype! I specifically got this formulation to treat more of the textured areas of my face (forehead/cheeks). I followed the usage instructions for intensive treatment (according to the brand site) which is leaving the pads on my face for 15 min and wiping off with the textured side afterwards. I was pleasantly surprised with how immediate the results were! I noticed a difference with how smooth my skin felt and the glow that came afterwards. With how strong it was for me, I just limited to doing this exfoliation treatment 2x a week. So I can see this replacing the Lactic Acid serum I've been using. Another nice thing is that each pad is very saturated so you don't have to worry about any of them drying out overtime (so they'll stick to your face pretty well). I also can't get over how convenient the packaging is, as it is a refillable container and tweezers are included for sanitary use. I feel that they give you a pretty good amount with the 90 pads. 4 pads is enough to cover a majority of my face as I also cut some pads with cuticle scissors to make strips for my temple and nose areas. I enjoyed using this product and I would love to try the other toner pad variations this brand has to offer!
