Ingredients Explained

These ingredients are found in both products.

Ingredients higher up in an ingredient list are typically present in a larger amount.

Emollient, Emulsifying

Peg-20 Glyceryl Triisostearate comes from Isostearic Acid and glycerin.

It is an emollient, emulsifier, and gentle cleanser. As an emollient, it helps trap moisture to keep skin soft and hydrated. Emulsifiers help prevent ingredients from separating.

This ingredient is common in oil-based products. This is because it helps oil-ingredients be easily washed away without leaving a residue.

Peg-20 Glyceryl Triisostearate may not be fungal-acne safe.

Realmente um limpador eficiente e agradável. :)

Água fria funciona, mas senti a necessidade de lavar mais de uma vez para limpeza "completa". (3 vezes... ;-;)

It's not easy to find a cleansing oil or balm that is not based around highly comedogenic and/or is fragranced. Others I have tried that do meet those criteria either still broke me out, were frustratingly expensive, or felt like they stripped my skin.

This Cleansing oil doesn't have any of those issues, making it quite special in my opinion, even though it doesn't feel like it should be. It Show more

This Prequel oil cleanser has truly transformed my skin in just two weeks! As a licensed esthetician, I'm very particular about my skincare routine. I always double cleanse and have tried countless cleansing balms and oils. Generally, I prefer balms because many oil cleansers have caused breakouts—until I discovered this Prequel cleansing oil! I use it at night to remove mascara and sunscreen. Show more
