Ingredients Explained

These ingredients are found in both products.

Ingredients higher up in an ingredient list are typically present in a larger amount.

Skin Conditioning, Solvent

Water. It's the most common cosmetic ingredient of all. You'll usually see it at the top of ingredient lists, meaning that it makes up the largest part of the product.

So why is it so popular? Water most often acts as a solvent - this means that it helps dissolve other ingredients into the formulation.

You'll also recognize water as that liquid we all need to stay alive. If you see this, drink a glass of water. Stay hydrated!

Preservative

Phenoxyethanol is a preservative that has germicide, antimicrobial, and aromatic properties. Studies show that phenoxyethanol can prevent microbial growth. By itself, it has a scent that is similar to that of a rose.

It's often used in formulations along with Caprylyl Glycol to preserve the shelf life of products.

It works well for me. My acne spots and fungal acne have gotten a lot better since I’ve started using this a few months ago! I used to use the tretinoin one but this one works better for me.

I had loved this product when i first got it. Then after a few months of use i started getting chemical burns under my eyes, and super dry itchy skin whenever using benzoyl peroxide.

Used this product for a month seeing good reviews for it. I ended up getting horrible cystic acne something I never had in my life. I didn’t know what was causing it until I realized with pictures I take that before the breakout happened I started this product. As soon as I stopped using it I didn’t get any new breakouts but I am still struggling with the scarring it left behind.
