The best lip balm I've tried so far. It is pricey but really lives up to the word 'salve'. It's lightweight, soothing, and gives a subtle shine to my lips. I have very dry and cracked lips and this helped give relief. It also has a weird and light scent that might put off some people but personally does not bother me. Thick gel but can easily spread. Very moisturizing. Has some black bits which irritate me a bit when rubbed too much, but it’s not a big issue. Can be used to moisturize other dry areas too. I also use this on minor cooking burns. Would repurchase after I finish 3 tubes
CeraVe Healing Ointment 22 ingredients
This is my holy grail for lip care. It's affordable and a tube lasts for ages. I apply it every night before bed and always wake up with soft lips. I have never had dried, peeling lips ever since I started using this.
TL;DR: Way better than Aquaphor. Affordable and really good for dry skin.
I picked this up in a pinch because my skin was dry in California and from traveling in airplanes. Was really pleasantly surprised. It’s about the same price as a tube of Aquaphor, but less greasy.
