This is my favorite makeup primer. I use e.l.f.'s putty brush to apply it and just love the cool feeling of moisture it leaves (probably from the glycerin) as you spread it across the skin. Texture-wise, it's fabulous. My foundation stays all day, and I appreciate the added benefit of salicylic acid for fighting blackheads. Some days I wear it alone because of how smooth my skin looks with it.
