It’s a thicker texture, not watery. It is really hydrating and added a nice glow to my skin.

Honestly I don't know what it is that makes it so good. Is it the mixture of fermented rice, green tea and algae? Maybe. Is it because these ingredients are allowed to ferment twice? Maybe. Or is it my belief that applying such an expensive product consistently over a long period of time simply MUST do something super special to my skin? Again, maybe. Nice essence with unique ferments & slight viscosity. I prefer SK-II for tone & especially dullness, but also use Tatcha because it’s more hydrating & helps texture. I’ve tried just using SK-II alone, but needed the Tatcha for hydration & texture.

Those first starting tret, be advised. This stung at first. But I’ve been tolerating it well for a while.

I also wish Tatcha would sell refills in Show more
