Ingredients Explained

These ingredients are found in both products.

Ingredients higher up in an ingredient list are typically present in a larger amount.

Skin Conditioning, Solvent

Water. It's the most common cosmetic ingredient of all. You'll usually see it at the top of ingredient lists, meaning that it makes up the largest part of the product.

So why is it so popular? Water most often acts as a solvent - this means that it helps dissolve other ingredients into the formulation.

You'll also recognize water as that liquid we all need to stay alive. If you see this, drink a glass of water. Stay hydrated!

This product really broke me out and clogged my pores badly, even with emulsifiying it with water like you're supposed to. It says its for sensitive skin and is supposed to be a mild version but it has a very strong scent and once burned my skin a bit near my nose area. The one good it did was i saw it actually remove some gunk from my pores while using.

Too drying on my skin - dehydrated, sensitive, mild acne-prone combo skin. I really wanted to love this cleanser, so much so that I bought three of it cause it is hard to find online. I thought I would love it because it promises to deeply cleanse without drying/stripping the skin and has no irritating ingredients. It does deeply cleanse and the foam is immaculate however it is super drying. You Show more
