Ingredients Explained

These ingredients are found in both products.

Skin Conditioning, Solvent

Water. It's the most common cosmetic ingredient of all. You'll usually see it at the top of ingredient lists, meaning that it makes up the largest part of the product.

So why is it so popular? Water most often acts as a solvent - this means that it helps dissolve other ingredients into the formulation.

You'll also recognize water as that liquid we all need to stay alive. If you see this, drink a glass of water. Stay hydrated!

I don't like this for my face. I've been struggling with acne and I think the cetearyl alcohol is irritating it more, it's been stinging when I apply it. I'm continuing to use it for now while I wait for an alternative to arrive in the mail, but in future will only be using it as a body lotion. Because of this I don't recommend it if you have acne, but otherwise it's great! It is light but still Show more
