Salicylic Acid is also known as a beta hydroxy acid (BHA), which means it helps to exfoliate the face. It is a common acne treatment ingredient. In medicine, salicylic acid is found in Aspirin, derived from willow bark. Fun fact: willow bark has been found in ancient Egyptian text as a fever reducer.

Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Water is an aqueous solution of the steam distillate obtained from the leaves of the aloe, Aloe barbadensis, Liliaceae. Aloe contains the antioxidants Vitamins A, C, and E. These vitamins neutralize free radicals. It also contains sugars in the form of monosaccharides and polysaccharides, folic acid, choline, many common minerals such as calcium, 12 anthraquinones, fatty acids, amino acids, and Vitamin B12.
