It's often used in formulations along with Caprylyl Glycol to preserve the shelf life of products.
Ethylhexylglycerin (we can't pronounce this either) is commonly used as a preservative and skin softener. It is derived from glyceryl.
You might see Ethylhexylglycerin often paired with other preservatives such as phenoxyethanol. Ethylhexylglycerin has been found to increase the effectiveness of these other preservatives.

Lightweight. Absorbs well. Doesn't feel soothing enough.
edit: literally does nothing for my skin.
The only moisturiser that does not break me out nor gives me any fungal acne. Hell yeahhh
Deconstruct Oil-Free Moisturizer For Oily Skin 24 ingredients
This fixed my skin barrier upto some extinct. This hasn't given me any cc's or fungal acne. Perfect for oily-sensitive skin.
