Ingredients Explained
These ingredients are found in both products.
Ingredients higher up in an ingredient list are typically present in a larger amount.
Butylene Glycol (or BG) is used within cosmetic products for a few different reasons:
- It is a solvent, meaning that it helps to dissolve other ingredients. This also enhances the absorption of the product into one's skin.
- It is a humectant, which means that it helps attract moisture into the skin.
- It helps improve product application.
Overall, Butylene Glycol is a safe and well-rounded ingredient. It is unlikely to irritate skin, and works well with pretty much all other ingredients.

I use this only on my arms and legs. Living in a hot and humid country, this gel has been my life saver for rashes. I got a terrible breakout from hives and this gel soothed the rashes and prevented it from growing out. It is also very cooling, refreshing on my skin and helps to combat heat. I highly recommend this to people who live in hot and humid places. I don't think it is suitable for dry and cold climates. I also have oily and combi skin.

It's so so
I have oily combination skin, I'm trying to do the minimal 3 step routine; cleanse, moisturized and sunscreen. Being using this for almost 1 month now, it's very drying when use without a toner, just after cleansing. But with a tonner it's quite okay. It doesn't cause me more break outs nor it reduce my acne breakouts. But it give calming and cooling effect. I suggest this product for very oily skin type only.
