Ingredients Explained

These ingredients are found in both products.

Ingredients higher up in an ingredient list are typically present in a larger amount.

Skin Conditioning, Solvent

Water. It's the most common cosmetic ingredient of all. You'll usually see it at the top of ingredient lists, meaning that it makes up the largest part of the product.

So why is it so popular? Water most often acts as a solvent - this means that it helps dissolve other ingredients into the formulation.

You'll also recognize water as that liquid we all need to stay alive. If you see this, drink a glass of water. Stay hydrated!

It will work, but this product price gouges. Hypochlorous acid is a fantastic and gentle antimicrobial that will help kill the bacteria on your skin that causes acne. It's also used to treat wounds, eczema, hand sanitizer, surface cleaner, and to clean medical implants before placement. You can buy it for way cheaper at $2/oz vs Tower 28's $7/oz. Try the Skin Smart version on Amazon instead. Show more

Seemed to make my acne worse (increased comedones) and dried out my skin.

good ‘milky toner’
this toner has that ‘milky’ look and feel similar to a lot of Korean toners like the Tonymoly Ceramide one (and probably the I’m From rice toner, which i haven’t tried). this is not the most hydrating toner ever, but it does what a simple toner should do, which is to prep the skin. it’s also priced well compared to most other toners at sephora and ulta.
