Abrasive, Absorbent

Silica is a mineral naturally found in our skin. It helps to thicken and smooth the texture of a product. It also acts as an agent for other ingredients by increasing the absorption of other ingredients into the skin.

Silica is often used for absorption and can help reduce shine when products are applied. Silica occurs in naturally in materials like clay and sandstone, and it can also be produced synthetically.

Silica is present naturally within the skin during collagen production and when reducing inflammation.

Been trying to find a good setting powder with the ingredients I prefer and this perfectly matched. I only powder the areas where I don't want shine. It gives a soft velvety look and it is non-irritating. My oiliness is also controlled well with this. The only con is the price... pretty pricey. But worth the money

This stuff is amazing! OMG! Keeps my skin (dark) nice and matte, and does not leave a white cast. Love to wear it as a setting powder for both my SPF (to reduce the glow) and with makeup
