Water. It's the most common cosmetic ingredient of all. You'll usually see it at the top of ingredient lists, meaning that it makes up the largest part of the product.
So why is it so popular? Water most often acts as a solvent - this means that it helps dissolve other ingredients into the formulation.
You'll also recognize water as that liquid we all need to stay alive. If you see this, drink a glass of water. Stay hydrated!

This broke me out and it took me forever to believe because I was under the impression micellar water was the move for acne prone girlies. It’s also a fairly simple ingredients list but beware of the disodium cocoamphodiacetate in this! It’s derived from coconut oil and I’m now going down a rabbit hole to see what else I’m using is coconut based as I obviously don’t react well! I’ve switched to Show more
This one made me break out really badly! I used it before I got into skincare, thinking I was cleaning my skin, but all I was really doing was moving dirt around my face. Even if it says it doesn’t need washing off: please, wash it off! I know it’s tempting to leave it on during lazy days, but don’t. I don't use it for my whole face because I don't usually wear foundation, I mostly just wear eyeliner, eyebrow filler and mascara. Works great if you wan't to remove your eye makeup without pain, irritation or having to scratch your eyelashes, I just use a cotton pad and Show more
