Masking, Skin Conditioning

This ingredient is an emollient, solvent, and texture enhancer. It is considered a skin-softener by helping the skin prevent moisture loss.

It helps thicken a product's formula and makes it easier to spread by dissolving clumping compounds.

Caprylic Triglyceride is made by combining glycerin with coconut oil, forming a clear liquid.

While there is an assumption Caprylic Triglyceride can clog pores due to it being derived from coconut oil, there is no research supporting this.

(Purchased Jan 2024) I love using this facial oil as part of the last step in my routine with a gua sha tool as it provides a good amount of slip. I also like that the oil is packed with nourishing ingredients. It also doesn't feel too heavy after application. Although this product does contain fragrance, I didn't experience any sensitivity or irritation when using and I feel that the smell isn't Show more

I highly recommend this product to anyone with sensitive skin. If your skin tends to become irritated from friction, try using a bit more oil for a smoother massage. A little goes a long way—one tube lasts me around four months, which justifies the $27 price, especially since I use it daily. Even with a small amount, it effectively removes dirt and dead skin that accumulates from skin-cell Show more
