It can cause irritation and/or dryness if one's skin already has a compromised moisture barrier, so it's best to focus on repairing that before introducing a Salicylic Acid into your routine.

My first bha exfoliant. Tolerated well, noticeable pore improvement. Might go back to this, but going to play the field a while.
Exfoliated my skin great and makes my skin feel soft. It’s helped with my pores and has improved some of the texture however, I have really bad closed comedones and was hoping it would help with this but I’ve only noticed a small difference.

bought this because the Paula’s Choice BHA (which i will always love because it helped a lot with my skin texture) seems to increase in price every time i check it. it feels pretty much the same on my skin.
