Synthetic Fluorphlogopite is the synthethic version of mica. It consists of fluorine, aluminum and silicate.
Disodium EDTA plays a role in making products more stable by aiding other preservatives.

While Cocamidopropyl Betaine was believed to be an allergen, a study from 2012 disproved this. It found two compounds in unpure Cocamidopropyl Betaine to be the irritants: aminoamide and 3-dimethylaminopropylamine. ah, cetaphil. one of my first long term face washes. after actually paying attention to what it did, i realized it made my oil production worse and caused a good number of pimples. it IS gentle, but almost TOO gentle for me? my dermatologist ended up telling me it wasn't good for my skin, so combo skin people keep an eye out i guess.
