Citric Acid is an AHA derived from citrus fruits (think oranges, lemons, and limes!).

As an AHA, Citric Acid removes the top layer of skin cells from the newer layer of skin underneath. This helps skin to remove dark spots and even out skin tone.

If you spot Citric Acid near the end of an ingredient list, it's likely there as a pH adjuster rather than an active ingredient.

Can't believe it contains SLS
I have dishydrotic eczema (on my hands), so I wanted to use some eczema-friendly shower gel/cream. I've chosen this product because it's recommended for atopic skin, so I didn't even check the ingredients list. Only now I see that it contains SLS, after I used the whole bottle... But now I know this site and i won't buy anything before checking the whole ingredients list.
