It works for me only if I already healthy skin barrier. But seems like the concentration of butylene glycol is to high for sensitive skin barrier. In that case it doesn’t do the job 100% properly. It only good for mild common rednesses but I do not suggest to use it with actives. I flushed red right after application (day after retinol) so it can be only the toner. For those you who don't know, low molecular penetrates the deepest and absorbs the quickest when applied to the skin, where as high molecular kind of just stays at the surface of your skin and takes ages to absorb.
