This has completely transformed my skin. My skin is very sensitive to a lot of gel/water based cleansers, and most oil cleansers break me out. This truly cleanses my skin while evening out my skin tone. 10/10

This oil cleanser is not the most cosmetically elegant oil-based cleanser I have tried. There's more friction when using it than other oil-based cleansers I have used.

However, I'm giving it five stars because it is both listed as fragrance-free on skinsort, and it doesn't contain ethylhexyl palmitate, which is what nearly all cleansing oils and balms are centered around, and which is comedogenic and I believe was breaking me out. It seems pretty unique in this regard. There's one other product I've found that fits this criteria, but I also felt that it contributed to my acne as well somehow. This product seems to do it's job, without making my acne worse.

Admittedly, this product does have a noticable scent, I think mainly from the sandalwood seed oil. Paula's choice says that oil is a fragrant oil that is sensitizing and thus should be avoided, but I have sensitive skin, and I have not found this product to be sensitizing at all. But your milage may vary.

If you are acne prone, and think your current oil-based cleanser may be breaking you out, consider giving this one a try.

Got by accident, didnt like
Swapped from cerave salicylic acid cleanser to this one, I meant to buy the effaclar with salicylic acid in it, got a lot more breakouts after using and skin was quite red, wouldnt recommend for acne prone skin, just get effaclar with salicylic acid in it.

Tried this before I realised my skin was dry, when I thought having acne = oily skin. Despite that, I don't think any cleanser should be this drying and irritating.
