Ingredients Explained

These ingredients are found in both products.

Masking, Skin Conditioning, Soothing

Bisabolol is famous for its skin soothing properties. It does this by blocking inflammatory signals, helping to reduce your body's reaction to irritation.

This ingredient also interferes with the process of hyperpigmentation. This can help with reducing dark spots and uneven tone.

Bisabolol is an antioxidant. Antioxidants help fight free-radicals. Free-radicals are molecules that may damage your skin cells. By fighting these free-radicals, Bisabolol may slow down signs of aging.

Studies have shown Bisabolol to have antimicrobial properties and may be a fungicide. These properties help preserve a product's shelf life.

All these properties makes bisabolol a great skin barrier helper ingredient.

Bisabolol also helps the absorption of other ingredients.

Note: Synthetic Bisabolol has been shown to be less effective.

Absolutely triggers my skin. First I thought it was great, used it on my lips and around my eyes. After a few days, ittitated my skin super bad. I checked the ingredient list before, and on some websites who sell this Lanolin Alcohol is not listed which I find super weird- it’s very irritating

I use it primarily on my lips, as a regular lip balm and as a lip treatment, it’s great for chapped lips, and overnight. It soothes and heals my lips quickly and it’s also hydrating and moisturising.

I see people compare this with Vaseline which I don’t really agree with. I don’t like Vaseline on my lips at all, it doesn’t hydrate or moisturise and it doesn’t soothe or heal or do anything Show more
