1
What it does: Skin Conditioning, Solvent
Community Rating: Loved

Water. It's the most common cosmetic ingredient of all. You'll usually see it at the top of ingredient lists, meaning that it makes up the largest part of the product.

So why is it so popular? Water most often acts as a solvent - this means that it helps dissolve other ingredients into the formulation.

You'll also recognize water as that liquid we all need to stay alive. Talk about multi-purpose! If you see this, drink a glass of water. Stay hydrated!

I LOVE this. So affordable. Merely looking at the INCI is a bliss, just green all around?? Yes please. I haven't tried a vitamin C serum before so I don't know how to compare but it feels very good on the skin! It's actually soothing - and I have very reactive, sensitive skin that doesn't like anything I buy. I use it on my undereye area mostly (since I'm on tretinoin and would like my face to get used to that first - I don't use tretinoin under my eyes for now) and there has been no irritation at all. Hasn't been a month and I can see that area is more plump. I'm over the moon about this one, so happy I found my vitamin C serum!!
Keep in mind, it is a bit sticky like (from what I've heard) other vitamin C serums. Doesn't bother me because I top it with my sunscreen or moisturizer.
