Ricinus Communis Seed Oil is the INCI name for castor oil.
Castor Oil helps moisturize the skin. It is rich in a fatty acid called ricinoleic acid. This fatty acid helps prevent moisture loss on the skin. This helps keep your skin soft and hydrated. Ricinoleic acid also has anti-inflammatory and pain reducing properties.

One major flaw: It tastes bad. In a waxy way. Sometimes the taste even makes me feel a little bit nauseous.
Otherwise this would've been a very nice lip balm. It's thick, moisturizing, and my lips like it. Too bad about the taste. I won't be able to finish this on my lips.
