Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate is an organic compound that provides UVB protection. It often goes by the more common name of octinoxate. It is created from methoxycinnamic acid and 2-ethylhexanol.

You probably know this ingredient as Oxybenzone, a sunscreen ingredient. It is a broad-spectrum sunscreen ingredient, meaning it can protect the skin against UVB and short UVA rays. The absorption range is 270-350 nm with peak absorption at 288 and 350 nm.
Petrolatum is more commonly known as petroleum jelly. It is created by mixing waxes and mineral oils.
Lanolin is a wax secreted by animals with wool, such as sheep. It is a waterproof emollient.
Cera alba is beeswax, or the wax used by bees to make honeycombs. It is a texture-enhancer and emollient. A study from 2003 found beeswax to be a stronger emollient than ingredients such as petroleum jelly.
Cetyl Esters is a synthetic wax made up of mostly fatty acids and fatty alcohols. It is strcturally similar to wax taken from whales.
Aroma refers to an ingredient, or mixture of ingredients, that impart or mask a flavor.
Isopropyl Palmitate is a texture enhancer and emollient. It is an ester of isopropyl alcohol and palmitic acid.
Theobroma Cacao Seed Butter comes from the Theobroma cacoa, or Cacao tree. Cacao trees are native to tropical landscapes.

Limnanthes Alba Seed Oil is the oil extracted from the seeds of the meadowfoam plant. This oil is non-fragrant and is an emollient. As an emollient, meadowfoam seed oil helps soften and hydrate the skin.
Isohexadecane is added to enhance texture, emulsify, and to help cleanse. It is an isoparrafin. It is a component of petrolatum.

i picked this up at my local cvs and since then i use this everyday and overnight. it always moisturizes my lips and...
good product + affordable
i picked this up at my local cvs and since then i use this everyday and overnight. it always moisturizes my lips and gives them that light blush rosy look that enhances the color nicely. when applying in the morning i'd say it lasts up to 5 hours before needing to be reapplied for better moisture. i definitely do not think this is hydrating so if you're looking for more of a hydrating lip product this isn't for you. but i do still recommend it due to the affordability and results in moisturization <3
