Despite my hesitation with the formula (fatty alcohols typically break me out), my body-skin loves this stuff. Lactic acid is hydrating and exfoliating. Leaves me softer than I've ever been. Somehow very well-tolerated by my extremely sensitive skin. (TMI) one of the first products I've tried that legitimately helped clear very stubborn butt acne. Echoing what others have said, it can sting upon application to broken skin (as would be expected with chemical exfoliators), so proceed with some caution. Interesting cheesy smell (lol) that I've grown to appreciate. Does apply a bit greasy but dries down quickly to lusciously soft skin and as of yet the only body lotion that my sensory-averse partner tolerates. Relatively affordable, highly efficacious, longstanding, US drugstore product. Very solid 4 stars.
