This cleanser is a bit strange. It feels like you're just rubbing lotion on your face. If you want it to remove makeup, you have to wipe it off with a cloth. If you just rinse with water, you'll still have makeup on your face.

I've been using this cleanser for years now and we are inseparable. Such an underrated product! The texture is gel-like, doesn't lather but still provides a thorough cleanse and a "clean" feeling while being super gentle and non-stripping. It also promotes wound healing. I really wanted to like this product, and I did for about a week, until I started to break out. It was quite painful, little whiteheads along my jawline. I wondered if this was purging but looking at the ingredients I'm not convinced this product should do that. It may have something to do with the protective film it leaves on your skin, It appears to be derived from coconut oil.
