Below are the haircare product categories on SkinSort:

Shampoo & Conditioner

1. Scalp Scrubs - Exfoliating products that remove buildup, dead skin cells, and excess oil (sebum) from the scalp.
2. Dry Shampoos - Water-free products that absorb dirt, oil, and grease without the need for washing. These are typically in powder or spray form.
3. Shampoos - Cleansers that remove impurities from the scalp and hair strands. Most come in liquid form, though bar versions are also available.
4. Leave-In Conditioners - Lightweight, no-rinse conditioners applied to damp hair to provide ongoing moisture, detangling, and protection.
5. Conditioners - Rinse-out products used after shampooing to improve moisture, smoothness, and manageability.
6. Other Hair Cleansers - Includes alternative cleansing products such as pre-shampoo treatments and hair rinses.

Hair Treatments

1. Hair Serums - Lightweight leave-in products formulated to target specific hair concerns such as frizz, dryness, or damage.
2. Scalp Treatments - Products designed to detoxify, nourish, and maintain a healthy scalp.
3. Detanglers - Leave-in treatments that smooth the hair and help prevent tangling.

SkinSort currently supports one category per product. Categories are assigned based on the product’s primary purpose, how it is used, and how the brand positions it.

Match score percentages are not yet available for haircare products. However, you can still view the ingredient page to see a detailed breakdown of each product’s formulation.

How to Filter by Category

To view products from a specific haircare category:
1. Click or tap the Filter button beside the search bar
2. Scroll down to Category
3. Select your desired product category
4. Click or tap Search
