How to Request a Missing Ingredient
Last updated 4 months ago
Skincare formulas are always evolving. Brands reformulate products, introduce new ingredients, and update formulas based on ongoing research. In some cases, an ingredient may appear to be missing simply because it is listed under a different name.
When this happens, an ingredient may not show up correctly on the product page or may not be recognized when scanning a product. If you notice something like this, you can easily let us know so our team can review and update it.
How to request a missing ingredient
Option 1: Suggest Edit (Website and iOS app)
- Go to the product page.
- Tap or click Suggest an edit below the ingredient list.
- Enter your message, specifying which ingredient is missing or incorrectly matched.
- You may also include a link to the product’s correct ingredient list.
- Enter your email address in the field provided so we can notify you once the update is complete.
Option 2: Email us Directly
- Email us at [email protected].
- Please include the following details to help us review your request faster:
- Brand
- Product name
- Missing or incorrect ingredient(s)
- Where you found the updated ingredient list (product box, official website, etc.)
What happens after you submit
Once submitted, our team reviews your request and verifies the ingredient using official sources.
If the ingredient is new, we will add it to our ingredient database. If it is an alternative name for an existing ingredient, we will update the ingredient to include the additional name.
Please note that updates may take a little time, as we carefully review and verify all ingredient information.
Most requests are reviewed within 2–3 business days, though complex formulations or unclear labels may take longer.
