How to Submit Missing Products and Brands on SkinSort

The SkinSort team works hard to add products and brands from all over the world. However, some products or brands may be missing when they are newly released, region-specific, or exclusive to certain countries.

Submitting missing products and brands helps improve SkinSort for everyone.

Before You Submit

To help reduce duplicates and speed up approvals, please search for the product or brand first.

You may:
* Try alternate spellings or spacing
* Search using brand + key product words
* Check for regional or localized names (some products may appear under different names in different countries or languages)

How to Submit a Missing Product

If you can’t find a product, you can submit it through our Product Submission Form:

On web:

Go to the product submission form

On the app:

Tap You in the tab bar, then tap Submit a Product

Then fill out the following details:
1. Brand: Type the brand name
2. Product Name: Enter the product name exactly as shown on the packaging (do not include the brand name here)
3. Variations (if applicable): Tick the Has Variations box, then enter the variation name and select the type (color, flavor, type, or region)
4. Category: Select the appropriate product category
5. Ingredients: Paste the full ingredient list
6. Vegan: Tick if the product is vegan-friendly
7. Official Link: Paste the official product page or retailer link
8. Images: Upload clear product photos
9. Extra Notes: Add any additional details (e.g., regional variant, reformulation, or special notes)

How to Submit a Missing Brand

If a brand is missing, you can submit it directly from the product submission form:

Click or tap Submit a Missing Brand beside the brand name field

Then provide:
1. Brand Name
2. Official Website URL
3. Country of Origin
4. Cruelty-Free Status (if applicable)

Submission Guidelines

To help us process submissions faster, please use INCI names whenever possible and separate ingredients using commas for proper system processing. Kindly ensure ingredient lists match what is shown on the product packaging.

For images, upload clear and high-quality photos. Use official product images when possible.

In the Extra Notes section, feel free to include any helpful context, such as regional differences, reformulations, or packaging updates

What happens after your submission

All submissions are reviewed by our Product Database team as soon as possible. Review times may vary depending on submission volume.
