How to Use SkinSort Search Filters

Finding the right skincare product for your skin can be overwhelming. This is why SkinSort’s search filters are designed to make it easy to discover products that match your skin’s needs, goals, and preferences, with just a few clicks.

SkinSort offers a variety of filters to help personalize your search.

You can start by choosing a product category, such as cleansers, toners, or moisturizers.

Then, refine your search through preferences, like fragrance-free, alcohol-free, malassezia (fungal acne) safe, or vegan products. You can also include or exclude specific ingredients for a more tailored search.

Other filters let you customize even further. You can set a price range to stay within budget, choose where products are sold, or filter by brand country if you prefer certain product origins.

The “Good for” filter allows you to find products best suited for your skin type, while the SPF filter enables you to browse sunscreens by SPF level and UV filter type. You can even sort by ingredient count or choose to include discontinued products in your results.

To help organize search results, you may apply four sorting options based on what you prefer: best match (exclusive to Premium users), most popular, top rated, and newest.

Please note that the best match sorting option is limited only to 2,000 products.

How to Use Filters:

On the SkinSort Website

1. On the home page, type any product in the search bar.
2. Click the filter button and apply your chosen options.
3. Alternatively, click Explore on the nav bar. Choose a product category, then click the filter button on the right side of the search bar.

On the SkinSort App

1. On the home page, tap the filter button on the right side of the search bar.
2. Select your preferred filters, then tap See Products to view your results.

To get the most accurate results, try combining different filters. You can also clear filters anytime to explore freely again.
