How to Build a Custom Shelf

Shelves are a great way to organize your products on SkinSort. They’re fully customizable, so you can create shelves that fit your specific skin concerns, routines, or goals.

Every account comes with pre-made shelves: Owned, Liked, Disliked, and Wishlist. You can also create your own custom shelves for anything you like, such as tracking a specific concern, planning a routine, or organizing products for a special occasion.

How to Create a Custom Shelf

On SkinSort Web

Step 1: Create a New Shelf
1. Click Shelves on the nav bar. Alternatively, go to your profile and click [Your Name]’s Shelf.
2. Click + New Shelf on the right side of the screen.

Step 2: Add Products to Your Shelf
You can add products in two ways:
From Browse:
1. Click Browse Products.
2. Search for a product you’d like to add.
3. Click the bookmark icon beside a product.
4. Add it to your custom shelf.
5. Click Save.

From a Product Page:
1. Open any product page.
2. Click the Save button.
3. Select the shelf you’d like to add it to.
4. Click Save.

On the SkinSort App (iOS & Android)

Step 1: Create a New Shelf
1. Tap Shelves on the tab bar.
2. Tap the + button in the top right corner.**

Step 2: Add Products to Your Shelf
You can add products in two ways:
From Search:
1. Search for a product.
2. Tap the bookmark icon.
3. Select your shelf.
4. Tap Save.

From a Product Page:
1. Open a product page.
2. Tap the bookmark icon in the upper right corner.
3. Select your shelf.
4. Tap Save.

Edit Your Custom Shelf

You can update your shelf’s name and description anytime.

On SkinSort web, open your shelf and click the … (three dots) icon in the upper right corner to edit the details.

On the app, open your shelf and tap the edit icon at the top of the screen.

After making your changes, be sure to save. Adding a description can be especially helpful if you’re using the shelf to track a specific goal, routine, or skin concern.

Browse & Organize Your Shelf

Once your custom shelf is created, you can easily explore the products inside.

Products can be viewed by category, and you can sort them by name, brand, custom order, or recently added.

The search bar within the shelf also makes it easy to quickly find a specific product, especially if your shelf contains many items.

Keeping your shelves updated ensures they continue to reflect your current skin needs and preferences.
