Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil is the oil derived from the seeds of a Sunflower. Sunflower seed oil is non-fragrant. It is an emollient, meaning it helps to soften the skin.
Sunflower seed oil contains many fatty acids. The fatty acids found in sunflower seeds include (from highest amount to least): linoleic acid, myristic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid, arachidic acid, oleic acid, and linolenic acid.
These fatty acids help the skin create ceramides. Ceramides play a role in repairing the skin barrier.
Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil helps moisturize the skin. This in turn helps the skin look more rejuvenated and smoother.
Sunflowers are rich in vitamin E.
Historians believe Indigenous cultures of North America domesticated sunflowers before corn. Thus they relied on sunflower oil for a variety of uses. One such use is moisturizing skin and hair.
Sunflower seed oil may not be fungal acne safe. We recommend speaking with a professional if you have any concerns.

An overhyped product that's actually a huge waste of money. Don't buy this at all.
I tried this with the intention of using this for oil cleansing but it broke me out after using it for 2 weeks. Also felt like it didn't cleaned my face at all so I ended up using this for double cleansing which was too much for my face. Tried it also as a moisturizer but it made my face oilier than usual. Oh, the glow... (but, please read the review below!)
The promise of glow is real! Since this is an oil, I check first the consistency of the products that I plan to use with it. The first time I tried this, I was a little nervous, so I decided to put it on after my night cream. Nervous, because I was trying a product that is in oil form, and I have oily skin which can get so bad it would feel Show more
