Ingredients Explained

These ingredients are found in both products.

Ingredients higher up in an ingredient list are typically present in a larger amount.

Emulsion Stabilising, Masking, Skin Conditioning

Beeswax is natural wax produced by honey bees and can be synthetically created. It consists mainly of fatty acid esters and long-chain alcohols.

In cosmetics, beeswax is a emollient. Due to its waxy structure, it creates a protective barrier. This barrier prevents water from evaporating off the skin.

This may not be a good ingredient for oily skin. We recommend speaking with a professional if you have concerns.

Beeswax cannot be removed with water, but can be taken off with an oil cleanser.

Beeswax is also antiseptic and contains vitamin A.

Only thing that helped heal my lips during a rough New York City winter. Tried Aesop, have tried La Neige, and some fancy beeswax products that did not help. I do not find simple vaseline healing. Unsexy packaging but sexy results. Exactly the results I was looking for, grateful it's affordable.

One of my daughters gets really dry lips and this is the lip balm she asks for by name. It seems to be Goldilocks - not too greasy, not too heavy, not too fragranced, just right. I like it quite a bit too, and the price is right.
