SkinSort Routine Insights

Routine Insights is a Premium-exclusive feature that gives you a deeper understanding of your skincare routine. It looks at your routine as a whole and analyzes how well it aligns with your skin profile, concerns, and preferences.

How to get Routine Insights

You must be subscribed to either a monthly or annual Premium subscription on SkinSort. Moreover, a user must have a saved routine. (Here’s how you can build a Routine on SkinSort).

Routine Insights are generated based on the following factors:
1. The products in your Routine
2. Your Skin Profile
3. Your Ingredient and Lifestyle Preferences.

It’s important to always update your routine, profile, and preferences to ensure more accurate insights.

What does the Routine Insights contain?

Routine Insights provides an overall routine score that reflects how well your routine fits your skin profile and preferences. It also includes recommendations to help you improve this score by identifying products that may lower it, explaining why they may not be a good fit, and suggesting alternative products when available.

You can see which of your selected skin goals are targeted by your routine, as well as how many products in your routine contribute to each goal. The Into the Ingredients section shows how your routine aligns with your loved and avoided ingredients, highlighting which products contain those ingredients.

Routine Insights also highlights notable ingredients found across your routine and indicates which products contain them. In addition, it evaluates how well your routine matches your ingredient and lifestyle preferences.

Finally, Routine Insights flags potential concerns by identifying ingredients that may trigger certain skin concerns and the products in which they appear. This section is provided for informational purposes only, as skin reactions can vary from person to person.

How to Access Routine Insights:

On the SkinSort Website:
1. On the nav bar, click Routine.
2. In the Routine page, click Routine Insights below the routine’s description or actions buttons.
3. Alternatively, go to your Profile and select your Routine to access Routine Insights.

On the SkinSort App:
1. Tap Routine in the tab bar.
2. Tap Routine Insights at the top of the page.
