What is the product comparison tool?

SkinSort’s product comparison tool lets you easily compare skincare products to help find the best match for your skin’s needs and goals.

You can see which ingredients the products have in common (and which they don’t), along with other information to help you make an informed choice.

How to Use

On web:
1. Click Tools on the nav bar.
2. Click Compare Products.
3. Type the name of your first product.
4. Add your second product (you can also add a third or fourth product if you like).
5. Click Create my comparison.

Alternatively, you can also compare products on the product page. To do this:
1. Find your first product.
2. On the product page, click Compare.
3. Add your second product (Optionally, add a third and fourth product).
4. Click Compare products.

On mobile:
1. Tap your first product.
2. On the product page, scroll down and tap Compare Product.
3. Add up to four products.
4. Tap Compare Products.

What You’ll See
Once your comparison is ready, you’ll see all the match score, key ingredients, benefits, and concerns for each product.

You’ll also get a side-by-side look at each product’s full ingredient list, ingredient ratings, and helpful tips on when to use them.

To further help determine the best product for you, you’ll also see user reviews for each product.

For Premium users, alternatives or dupes are also provided. You can even browse similar comparisons to see what other members of the SkinSort community are comparing.

Tips & Troubleshooting
You can compare up to four products at a time. You’ll get more useful insights by comparing products that serve the same goal (like moisturizers or sunscreens).

Moreover, typing the full product name helps ensure you select the right item. If a product you want to compare doesn’t appear, it might not be in our database yet. In that case, feel free to send us a message and we’ll be happy to help add it.
