Hypochlorous Acid is a HOLY GRAIL ingredient!
This spray has helped treat both my acne and eczema! The antimicrobial properties of hypochlorous acid are amazing!
There are several different hypochlorous acid sprays on the market (many of which are quite similar) so I personally don’t think you could really go wrong with any of them, however here are a few reasons why this Base Laboratories spray is my go to.
1) The size. You get 8oz of product so this will last you awhile (for comparison, the Tower 28 spray is only 4oz). 2) The price. As of writing this review, this spray is only $13! 3) The added ingredients. Every other hypochlorous acid spray that I’ve seen has an extremely simple ingredient list. That may be helpful for someone with sensitive skin, but that’s not me. I appreciate the addition of ingredients like hyaluronic acid and chamomile (plus I suspect that these added ingredient help to cover the bleach smell some people complain about when it comes to hypochlorous acid sprays. This product has a very subtle nice smell). 4) The concentration. According to the ingredient list on the back of my box, this contains 0.02% hypochlorous acid. Every other spray that I’ve seen usually only has concentrations of 0.01% or 0.015%. 5) The packaging. Ok, packaging isn’t that important but I’ve just gotta say it… like every other affordable spray out there is ugly. The packaging is so boring and/or medical looking. I like that this spray comes in a pink can! It’s cute!
If you struggle with acne, eczema, or rosacea, I highly recommend you try a product with hypochlorous acid. This powerhouse ingredients can help treat several skin concerns while still being gentle on skin. I LOVE IT!
