Glycerin is already naturally found in your skin. It helps moisturize and protect your skin.

A study from 2016 found glycerin to be more effective as a humectant than AHAs and hyaluronic acid.

Hydrated skin improves your skin barrier; Your skin barrier helps protect against irritants and bacteria.

Glycerin has also been found to have antimicrobial and antiviral properties. Due to these properties, glycerin is often used in wound and burn treatments.

In cosmetics, glycerin is usually derived from plants such as soybean or palm. However, it can also be sourced from animals, such as tallow or animal fat.

This ingredient is organic, colorless, odorless, and non-toxic.

Copper Tripeptide-1 is a peptide naturally found in body fluids. Peptides are building blocks for protein.

Studies show this ingredient tells our body to create more collagen and elastin. Collagen is a protein that makes connective tissue. Elastin is the protein responsible for giving our skin elasticity. Our bodies start to slow down collagen and elastin production with age.

I absolutely love this essence so much, even though I use it as my regular toner because how is my skin gonna differentiate a toner-like essence with an essence-like toner? Anyhow, I adore her viscous texture and how she hydrates my skin but I decided to stop repurchasing this essence, because it's hard for me to get this essence for an affordable price nowadays and I have found a better alternative. I'm not saying that this product is bad - it's actually amazing at hydrating, plumping and firming my skin without leaving my skin sticky, itchy or whatever, but the accessibility for me is very hard so I gotta pass on her in the future.
