Lauryl/Myristyl Glucoside
Explained
This ingredient is a plant-derived surfactant and cleansing agent.
It is made by linking sugar (glucose) to fatty alcohol chains (lauryl and myristyl alcohols)
Due to this unique structure, the molecule has "two sides".
One side likes water and the other one likes oils. This makes it effective at helping water and oil mix, allowing dirt, pollution, and sebum to be rinsed away easily.
