I wanted to add extra squalane, an occlusive, to my moisturizer in the evening during the cold winter months and I chose an oil squalane rather than sugarcane because of my dry mature skin. Just one drop is all I need, but even that is too rich for my forehead and I got a few small pimples. This works well mixed with moisturizer for the rest of my face and neck.
