Ingredients Explained

These ingredients are found in both products.

Ingredients higher up in an ingredient list are typically present in a larger amount.

Skin Conditioning, Solvent

Water. It's the most common cosmetic ingredient of all. You'll usually see it at the top of ingredient lists, meaning that it makes up the largest part of the product.

So why is it so popular? Water most often acts as a solvent - this means that it helps dissolve other ingredients into the formulation.

You'll also recognize water as that liquid we all need to stay alive. If you see this, drink a glass of water. Stay hydrated!

TL;DR: HG! 🏆 The only thing keeping my skin from burning off while on retinoids! Great for sensitive skin. Helps with my acne, but not a surefire solution.

I used this consistently for about 8 months and although I enjoyed the clean feeling it gave me, I didn't notice obvious results, especially regarding clogged pores, closed comedones or pimples.

I use this instead of a peroxide or alcohol for open cuts, blisters, burns, etc. My esthetician told me to also use it on acne and to refresh my face while camping at a music festival! It never stings which is good. I think it’s better at treating open skin conditions than anything preventative.
