Alcohol-Free Toner Neutrogena
bluey rated
Very basic toner to remove excess dirt/oil. See my review for full thoughts on this toner.
Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer La Roche-Posay
Hated this. Somehow was drying and gave me closed comodones
Gentle Exfoliating SA Lotion Cetaphil
Used since November 2024 until I ran out. Only used this on my back. It was ok, not great. Just ok
Clarifying Exfoliant 2% Salicylic Acid Panoxyl
Hated this. Burned my skin each time
Lip Repair + Protect Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Aquaphor
Taste made me nauseous
Wonder Releaf Centella Spot Patch PURITO
Didn't calm irritation. Just felt like a sticker covering a blemish
Pimple Paste Overnight Blemish Drying Paste iNNBEAUTY PROJECT
Did dry blemishes (not always overnight), but left me with a lot of hyperpigmentation. Also burned
Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% The Ordinary
Hated this. Made my skin more sensitive, noticed more blemishes, and didn't like the consistency (sticky and looks oily). I don't think my skin can tolerate 10% niacinamide
Pair Acne Cream W Lion
Bought after a lot of raving reviews, but I didn't like it. It dried my skin after continual use and didn't really work for calming inflammation / acne. Sometimes I felt that it worked, but often, I felt it wasn't doing much
Drying Patch Mario Badescu
Well, definitely is a drying patch. Stopped using this because it started causing hyperpigmentation + left my skin dry. I prefer patches that don't have actives (exception: micro dart patches).
Overnight Spot Patches Panoxyl
Literally the worst patches I've ever used. They don't stick well and don't draw out any blemishes.
Level Up Balancing Moisturizer Bubble
Not moisturizing enough for my skin + climate during the time I was using this. I don't like the dispenser either
Daily Facial Moisturizer Vanicream
I liked this for a while, but realized my skin is sensitive to hyaluronic acid + this often burned my skin.
Gentle Clear Clarifying Acne Cream Cleanser Cetaphil
Used to be my OG. It worked pretty well, but I didn't repurchase for 2 reasons: 1) too expensive for how much product you get and 2) I don't like how it take a minute to lather
Gentle Clear Acne Mattifying Moisturizer Cetaphil
Didn't like and realized I don't need a moisturizer that has an active ingredient in it. Did not break me out though. Opted for using this on my back and worked well
Deep Dive AHA + PHA Exfoliating Mask Bubble
Good introduction to an AHA. I just don't use it anymore since I switched to toners that I didn't need to wash off
Madagascar Centella Ampoule SKIN1004
Never did much for my skin. Didn't make things worse, but didn't calm my skin either.
Calm + Restore Oat Gel Moisturizer For Sensitive Skin Aveeno
Didn't really like it. Not really moisturizing + not calming as it claimed. My skin felt dry not long after applying as well. I have a near-full bottle jar that I'll use on my feet or something
Sunscreen SPF 30 Black Girl Sunscreen
The few times I used this, it made my skin extra oily and I always had some acne the next day. Saving the rest to use on my arms this summer
Mermaid Skin Gel UV SPF 50+ PA++++ Canmake
My first face spf and I really liked this. Didn't cause irritation or break outs. However, after a while of continual daily use, I felt it was leaving a slight white cast. Switched since this also has an AHA in it. Had the 'clear' version
