About
more on the natural side, mainly because i still can’t do makeup lol.
skin tone wise, i’m about a MAC NC5-10 – so i’m very pale. it’s been very hard to find a foundation and concealer that match my skin tone, but i think i’ve done it now. i think i have neutral olive undertones? idk.
i have horrible body dysmorphia, and so for years i never bothered even trying to apply makeup. i figured id still look incredibly ugly regardless, and that it’d maybe be even more embarrassing if i tried to look good and failed miserably.
my skin may have cleared up, but i still enjoy wearing a good foundation. unfortunately, 99% of foundations don’t have a shade match for me, which means i’ve tried (and eventually sold) way too many over the years. but i have a pretty good set of foundations now, i think.
i also own quite a few concealers that i bought in my search for The One. i think i’m also going to start using some of them as eyeshadow primer. all of my current concealers work for my skin tone and type.

i also have some health problems that can make applying makeup difficult at times. not trying to sound like a victim, but it is what it is. i have found inspiration in people like selena gomez and lady gaga, because they also have health problems, and they have shown that you can still be talented, beautiful and successful while suffering from a chronic illness. they also both have makeup lines!

this list has a LOT on it, but many of them are mini sizes, samples or items i got for free. i‘ll admit to having purchased a bit too much after years of using nothing. free samples also can add up. but, believe it or not, almost nothing goes to waste.
(seriously, free samples last a LONG time.)
