Healthy Barrier Routine

About

I have noticed that NIOD isn’t a brand that’s used in the SkinSort community very much, but it’s a very fascinating brand aiming at prevention & long term skin health over short term change, which is something i’m becoming more interested in now. So i’m doing a 6 month trial of their products with reviews after 1, 3, and 6 months. I’m sure products will come & go depending on how I feel after using them but all products will be reviewed after significant use.

Products tried but won’t repurchase:
- NAAP (lovely serum but ultimately I needed the true acid to manage texture)
- Photography Fluid Opacity 12% (see review)
- Photography Fluid Opacity 8% (I won’t repurchase because I’m not a make up person. mix in with sunscreen or moisturizer)
- SDSM (i love this but there’s a newly released version which i will probably purchase when this bottle is done)
- Survival 0 (antioxidant powerhouse & great for barrier repair but the Skinmade version is a better formulation)

Products I loved & WRP:
- LVCE (discontinued but i stocked up during the Slowvember sales. Controversial product: i love it but can understand why it wasn’t popular. smells yeasty, your towels smell like yeast & leaves a film on your face, which i like, but others won’t)
- MG (absolutely gorgeous & essential for barrier repair & maintenance)
- MMHC (i LOVE this hyaluronic acid formulation. it’s gorgeous, lightweight, & incredibly effective. i don’t need other hydrating products when i use this. expensive, but essential)
- FECC (I like how lightweight it is & it’s great for fine lines & bags.)
- CAIS3 1:1 (i believe in copper peptides as a thing, and this is an effective version)
- NEC (just a gorgeous formulation. skin feels baby soft after using it. i use it on my eyelids, too)
- HV (the most luxurious product ever. might be a great primer for the mua gurlies. soft, like whipped butter & sugar. mattifying. HG)
- SS (effective deep cleanser. not for every day use. not essential but i like it)
