Yes, I'm (30s) slightly obsessed with skincare. I enjoy it as part of my selfcare regimen and of course because of the fantastic results. However, it took years of try and error to figure out what works for me and what doesn't. Psoreasis and Rosacea didn't make the journey easier. And still don't...
Yet, there is so much lovely skincare to discover! I like trying out new brands and products, but only one new at a time to avoid disrupting my current skin condition. Happy I achieved something that varies between Mochi, Honey and Glass Skin. (Which also depends on my physical and mental well-being, sleep, nutrition, stress and hormonal cycles.)
Avoiding: cotton/bamboo/textile pads, face wipes, face brushes, microplastics, and some questionable ingredients π§
Love: π°π· K-Beauty, π situational skincare, βοΈ biocompatibility, π advanced skin cycling, πͺΈ algae and plankton, πͺ 7 skin method, πΊface oils for my dry skin
While I prefer products without silicones, I do use some that contain them, particularly sunscreens, moisturizers and makeup.
Ratings: I am rating products for what they aim or claim to do and not for what I wish them to do. 1-2 stars:π; 3 stars: mediocre; 4-5 stars:π. Everyone's skincare journey is a personal experience - what works for me, might not work for you, and the other way around.

Hello @AliceLamond thanks for your reply! π The Kaine toner indeed sounds promising, just what I was looking for to try layering with my other toners. Nice! Will have to check the availability in Switzerland though. Nooo... π£ damn them makeup wipes! β°οΈ I've been using them for much too long in the past, thinking I would do something good for my face haha. How wrong I was... Many thanks for the detailed info about the YTTP cleanser, exactly the same reasons why bit weary of it. Good to know there's a travel size available! Will probably try it during summer, when my skin doesn't need to much additional hydration. Thank you very much for taking the time to write your comment, really Informative and helped with my questions and concerns β£οΈ that's so nice of you π very appreciated π₯° I had to start using the routine creator, because my routines started to get long and complicated π It really helps me to stay organised with my skincare. Take care, AliceLamond βοΈ
Hi @Skincaresam I've just seen your comment on my routine and just wanted to update you. So far I love the Kaine Toner as I am currently dealing with a small breakout (I'm an idiot and used makeup wipes for the first time in years lol bad idea) so I've had to slowly introduce each product to reduce irritation, so far no irritation with this toner it's actually nice and soothing. It's lightweight, hydrating and not heavy at all. I can't comment on the long term effects since I haven't been using it long but so far would definitely recommend. As for the yttp cleanser I was hesitant to try it since it's a foam cleanser (which have dried my skin in the past) and it's quite pricey. I so far have not noticed any dryness or irritation (my skin is super sensitive so that's definitely a good sign) my skin doesn't feel dry after using it however I haven't used it more than once a day yet so I'm not sure if twice a day would be too much. It rises off very well no residue, it does have noticeable fragrance but not overwhelming, doesn't linger. I like it so far and don't have anything to complain but I do know some people have issues with it being stripping can't say I've experienced this, yet. Probably worth a try but if you're still unsure about it there's a travel sized one (59ml) that's good for testing it out.β£οΈReally hope this info helps, also I love your profile it's so organised!
