Woman in early 30s. Adult acne and sensitivity. Passionate about skincare.
Skin type: sensitive/combination/reactive. Note that I’m using prescription acne medication which increases sensitivity.
Had previously treated acne successfully with prescription adapalene/benzoyl peroxide and azeleic acid, tried switching abruptly to tretinoin and a new spf = horrible acne flare. 🤦♀️ Back to basics to heal acne again.
Right now: have open and closed comedones, sporadic pustules, 2 nodules and 1 cyst.
Goals:
1) Heal acne and prevent new lesions
2) Slowly introduce tretinoin for anti-aging properties
3) Find an SPF that doesn’t break me out, doesn’t burn eyes, pill or make my skin look oily nor drying. And reasonably priced. 🥲
