While it is definitely effective on acne outbreaks, it's too harsh for my skin these days. Even sandwiched between moisturizer layers, it irritated me more than it's worth.
Surprised to find via patch testing that this was one of the primary causes of my June 2023 compromised skin barrier. While stinging/burning on application is expected, it also caused itching and irritation through to the next day & beyond.
Surprised to find that this formerly super safe product now causes irritation. Needs further testing to determine if it was just a bottle or batch issue, or if I can't tolerate it at all. Caused significant itching, redness, and some warmth
While this doesn't cause an immediate reaction, it does produce some lingering itch and possibly warmth. Might simply be too drying, or there might be an ingredient that I have a low grade allergy/sensitivity to.
