On days when the barrier is hurting (redness, rosacea, couperose, sensitivity to products, itching, small bumps, dry skin - usually if you have like 3 of those issues, then it’s most likely a damaged skin barrier). Recommended use for at least a week. I posted optional steps and also several recommendations to one step. Low fragrance, no alcohol denat, no witch hazel, no menthol, no high content on butylene glycol, etc. You can build in your other products one by one once you healed your barrier. Good luck!
