i don’t react to much at all, although proactiv dried my skin to hell and back when i used it once as a preteen. not terribly fond of essential oils and fragrance, but i’m usually fine with them if they’re low on the ingredients list.
i tend to buy products based on whichever is currently the best deal. this inevitably leads to me trying tons of different products (especially sunscreens), hence the obscene amount of ‘alternating’ products in some of my routines.
…ok, my ADHD probably plays a role in this as well

my skin may be pretty ‘normal’, but i struggled with acne for a long time. i eventually started accutane, which took some time to work, but my skin eventually cleared up. i never struggle with acne anymore, apart from the occasional small pimple that goes away after a couple of days.
much of my post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation has faded away, but i’m still working on achieving the clearest skin i can possibly have.

skin concerns on my body are keratosis pilaris and ingrown hairs. my mom has suggested that i also MIGHT have mild eczema (both my mom and my brother have it). this also includes most of the perfumes i have. i have a small collection, mostly consisting of celebrity fragrances because they’re so affordable.

several guidelines i’ve set for my body routine + a few preferences:
• only use Naturium exfoliating body wash and DE exfoliating body lotion a few times a week (at most)
• more power to those of you who can use aluminum-free deodorant. but for me? absolutely not.
• i am never satisfied with my hands. it’s so difficult to keep them nice because they need to be washed so often every day… plus, hand soaps usually have drying ingredients like methylasdfghjklizone. oh, and on top of that, i have to use cheap hand soaps because i go through them so often.
• i also need to find halfway decent hand and foot creams.
