I am trying a new routine of prep skin for Tretinoin, gentle exfoliation, rehydration, treatment, Matrixyl or peptides, moisture, and occlusion. Thus far, this routine has been well tolerated. No flushing, redness, rash, or bumps. Clear even skin Lessened the appearance of acne scars such as pick holes and box marks. Eliminated reoccurring pustules (a sign of irritation) Skin looks refined, plump, nourished, hydrated, even, smooth, is soft to the touch I attribute the eveness and anti-inflammatory affects to the tretinoin however the remaining results to the other treatments as proactive solutions to the negative side affects of tretinoin. Additional time and observations are needed to see the results of increased collagen production. I began this 6 day a week routine 2/3/22.
