I have switched to using this in the morning and retinol at night. Duac is very effective and as the acne heals I am left with post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.

As a dark skinned Black woman I need a sunscreen with no whitecast. This is it, at least, if applying only once. Another important note: it does not sting my eyes.

Gentle but effective every day cleanser.

This can be slightly drying so I use it twice a week as part of my exfoliating/mask days.

Never on the same day as retinol.

Apply and wait AT LEAST 15 MINUTES before next step

I use this at night for now because I am using Duac in the morning. Once I finish my Duac prescription I will move this back to every morning.

Low and slow!
Week 1: Once a week - Tue only
Week 2: Twice a week - Tue/Sat
Week 3: Three times a week - Tue/Thu/Sat

I use this every night after my main active (either 15 minutes after vitamin C or 30 minutes after retinol)

It helps dampen my skin before I apply hyaluronic acid

Never on days with retinol.

Never on nights with retinol!
Once I finish the Duac prescription I will go back to using this in the AM.

I am still trying this out and getting my skin used to the ingredients so for now I use it once a week.
